The Freight & Salvage Coffee House in Berkeley plays host to Litha, a contemporary and traditional Celtic and German folk music group, tomorrow.

The group is composed of Claire Mann and Aaron Jones from Scotland and Juergen Treyz and Gudrun Walther from Germany, who met in June 2006 at a folk music festival in England.

The name means ‘midsummer’ in Anglo-Saxon, which is the time period in England during which they first met. Their music covers contemporary and traditional music as well as original compositions.

Located just minutes away from Lafayette, the Coffee house is located at 2020 Addison Street in Berkeley. Litha takes the stage at 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 15.
