Internet workshop among chamber’s important upcoming events

Even with the pleasant associations people have of the “Annual Taste of Lafayette” still lingering, the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce is wasting no time in hosting another practical workshop while giving members a chance to find new networking opportunities for members through the “Entrepreneur’s Club”.
After seeing and probably ordering various printing services during the “Annual Taste of Lafayette” event, business professionals are getting a prime opportunity to learn more about another area where a specialist print company can help them: the Internet. Going by the full title of “Online Business Profiles Matter: Easy Steps to Claim and Optimize Yours”, this morning event is going to give business owners the information they need in order to make themselves easier to find online.
Due to the fact that both prospects and competing organizations can be found online, strong profiles can go a long way towards helping a company generate more leads through different platforms. Starting May 16 at 8:00 am and ending at 9:30 am, this is an event that’s definitely worth the early rise. Free for chamber members to attend and sitting at $15 for guests, putting in an appearance here is a no-lose proposition.
Immediately following the workshop is an Entrepreneur’s Club Committee meet-up on May 17. Also beginning fairly early in the morning with a start time of 8:30 am, this hour-long event is once again going to be giving people an opportunity to plan and facilitate networking events. To that end, it can’t hurt to attend one of these meetings.
