La Palma to celebrate 30 years of spirit

The cherished La Palma Days event has been booked in November, marking the 30th anniversary of the community special.

The annual event celebrates the spirit of the residents and involves locals, business owners, friends, and families in the preparation and enjoyment of the festival.

A pageant will begin on November 2 to kick off the La Palma Days activities. The city’s ambassador, Mayssa Maring (Miss La Palma) will attend city functions and events, as well as business grand openings. The main focus of the pageant involves contestants dedicating a year of service to the cause of their choice to benefit the community. Committed to civic involvement, Mayssa will rally youth to support their community by getting involved in activities.

Pageants often involve the use of banners within the venue, on floats, or as directional signage. Banner printing is usually handled by qualified local print companies to ensure complete satisfaction. Logos and messages can be printed on the banners, making them highly visible.

On November 8, beginning at 10:00 am, the La Palma Days Parade will commence. The Band Review will present over 200 units of school bands, along with JROTC, military, celebrities, veterans, and dignitaries. The parade will take place on Walker Street to Houston to La Palma Avenue. Visit the event website for more information about it.
