Cypress Summer Concert takes place this weekend

July 11, 2012 by

La Palma residents who enjoy listening to live musicians and are happy to make the trip are free to consider attending the upcoming Cypress Summer Concerts. Meanwhile, book lovers will also be getting a chance to meet their favorite authors while supporting a worthwhile cause.

The action starts this Saturday, July 14, with the next installment of the ongoing Cypress Summer Concerts. Being hosted through the efforts of the Cypress Recreation & Community Services Department, people who like live music have plenty to be excited about due to the sheer level of the talent that will be performing at these concerts.

According to the advertisements available for viewing online, attendees can expect to see Abbey Road, the Cypress Orchestra, The Silverados, The Answer, and even tributes to Elvis Presley and Neil Diamond over the course of these performances. With food available for purchase and organizers allowing people to bring in alcohol, this is sure to be a good time for all who attend.

Brochure printers have probably played an essential part in making sure that the news gets out. Even so, it never hurts to reiterate information when the goal is fighting illiteracy and promoting reading. In an effort to support what ProLiteracy Worldwide is doing, romance writers will be taking time away from the Romance Writers of America’s Annual Conference to sign books and raise money.

Going from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on July 25, this event is free to attend and is an opportunity for readers to meet their favorite writers face-to-face.
