New project methodology to be taught

March 28, 2013 by

Project managers interested in becoming certified in the methodology of Scrum should attend the seminar being held right now at the Residence Inn Irvine John Wayne Airport.

This two-day event is taught interactively using teams, interaction, discussion and exercise. Participants will be taught everything they need to know in order to start using the program.

A tenth of the class proceeds will be given to a charity picked by the class participants. Scrum theory teaches team members to work together to accomplish a goal by building upon a project piece-by-piece. This theory follows the idea that accomplishing small goals will build teamwork and promote bonding.

Participants will learn how to track and report progress, make improvements to the plan as they go along, plan and run meetings, and conduct reviews.

Alternatively, there is a chance to take a break from learning and escape with the family to the Irvine Park Railroad in Orange. The Easter Bunny will be available daily up until this Saturday, March 30, for pictures and fun. Activities include an egg hunt, train ride, hay rides, face painting, cookie decorating, picture stands, carnival rides, and moon bounce.

The railroad is open 10:00 am – 6:00 pm weekends and 10:00 am – 5:00 pm weekdays. Tickets are $5 each or $60 for 15. The park accepts cash or credit cards. For more information call (714)997-3968.
Banner printing is a fun and colorful way to direct visitors to events and mark the location of event activities, and could be considered by the organizers of both events.
