Irvine goes from custom to comedy

November 4, 2013 by

Irvine business owners can learn how to dominate the competition with a seminar later this week at Concord Willow Pass Center, 2748 East Olivera Road in Concord.

Marketing more smartly is the topic, and participants will discover how to market their business to earn its true value, identify potential prospects, and use the target market to stand out from the competition. Postcard printing is an ideal way to let prospective business investors learn about investing opportunities, and could be used after this November 7 session.

After the seminar, locals can enjoy some laughs with Billy Gardell, star of the television show ‘Mike & Molly’ who will appear live at the Improv in Irvine.

Gardell previously starred in ‘Yes Dear’, and has appeared in the movies ‘You, Me & Dupree’ and ‘Bad Santa’. He has a down-to-earth point of view in his standup comedy routines that connect with audience members. He has opened for the likes of Dennis Miller and George Carlin.

Show times are 8:00 pm and 10:00 pm on Friday, November 8, and 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm on Saturday. Tickets are $25 each, and guests must be age 21 and older.

For more family-oriented fun, November 10 will see a comedy and magic show presented by Justin Rivera and Kiyan the ‘Man of Mystery’. Kiyan has been fascinated with magic since the age of seven.

This variety show will appeal to ages four and older. Doors open at noon and tickets are priced at $10.
