Food galore and a chance to run it off this weekend

Anyone interested in organic and natural foods will no doubt want to attend the upcoming Green Feast on this weekend at the Ecology Center in San Juan Capistrano.

This event will bring together organic ranchers, farmers, chefs, and wine makers from all over Central and Southern California. Attendees will be able to sample food and have their questions answered at this fifth annual event.

Proceeds from the event will be used for the educational programs put on by this nonprofit organization. Dinner will begin at 4:00 pm this Saturday, September 7. The Ecology Center is can be found on Alipaz Street in San Juan Capistrano, just 30 minutes from Irvine. To find out more, call (949) 443-4223.

On Sunday, a benefit run will be held to support the families and remember the heroes of 9/11. The run will begin at 9:00 am at the Avendale Clubhouse in Ladera Ranch. The event includes a 5K run and a one-mile run. All ages and levels of runners are welcome to participate.

Proceeds from the benefit run will be used in the local community to fund first responders who partner with the Travis Manion Foundation. The organization provides support to the families of fallen service members.

The clubhouse is located at One Daisy Street, Ladera Ranch. For both of these events, it is worth remembering that banner printing can be used to mark the important areas, and is also great for promotion in the run-up to them being held.
