On Saturday, April 28 the community of Irvine will be hosting the Artisan Food and Arts Festival at Hangar 244, Back 40 area, Farm and Food Lab, and the Palm Court Arts Complex located at 1 Civic Center Plaza in Irvine, California. This event runs from 11am to 5 pm.
At this event, local artisans will be participating in art activities and doing some artistic cooking. This event is in partnership with the Arts Orange County and Imagination Celebration. This event also has the full support of the Slow Food Orange County. This festival is open to all ages and will be filled with fun, inspirational creativity, wellness, and learning opportunities. At this event, guests will learn how to make their own jam, how to make their own bread, how to prepare a delicious farm fresh dish, how to live more sustainably, and how to be more creative.
Professional chefs and master gardeners will be present to instruct all demonstrations and seminars. Locally grown food trucks will be on hand with fresh produce. Local artisans will teach with live demonstrations and everyone is sure to have a great time. Additional demonstrations at this event include soda making, salad making, refrigerator pickles, aqua-ponics, composting, backyard hens and eggs, backyard bees, handling raw food and much more.
Local print companies have probably been quite resourceful in preparing any brochure printing or stationery printing to meet this group’s requirements. This event features no admission and lots of free parking.
