A stomping good time ahead in Irvine

This weekend, Irvine residents can enjoy the brisk fall air with a morning walk around the lake at the Laguna Niguel Regional Park, 25 minutes from Irvine.

The walk will begin at the parking lot at Shelter 3 and will cover 2.5 miles. Led by volunteers, it is open to those of the age of eight and over. Admission is a $2 donation per person, and parking is $5 per vehicle.

It begins at 9:00 am this Sunday, October 20, and the park is located at 28241 La Paz Road in Laguna Niguel. For more information, call (949) 497-8324.

After the hike, residents can take off their shoes and do some grape stomping for charity.

From 1:00 pm to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 20, there will be stomping opportunities and an Italian dinner, silent auction, and wine tasting event at the Antonello Ristorante at South Coast Plaza – all of which is to benefit the Orange County Ronald McDonald House.

The event is hosted by the owner of the restaurant, Antonio Cagnolo, and his wife Fiorella, as well as NFL football star Vince Ferragamo and his wife Jodi, who are the founders of the Vince Ferragamo Foundation.

Antonio is quoted on Zvents.com as saying:

“Fiorella and I are delighted to partner with one of my heroes, Vince Ferragamo, and his wife, Jodi, to present our inaugural Vendemmia celebration.”

Antonello Ristorante is located at 3800 South Plaza Drive in Santa Ana. Postcard printing is an easy way to notify donors and residents of local upcoming events like these.
