Business and education opportunities lead to busy Long Beach month

The 25th annual Southern California Visitor Industry Outlook Conference will give insight into how the current economic situation is affecting the tourist business next week at the Long Beach Convention Center.

The conference begins at 9:00 am at Thursday, October 24, and everyone who attends will receive a copy of the 2014 lodging forecast by PKF Consulting.

The keynote speaker will be David Adler who is the founder and chief executive officer of BizBash Media. Adler will give his perspective of the future of event business.

The first step in running a business is learning business skills. Future and recent high school graduates won’t want to miss the college financial aid workshop which will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at the Heritage Park Regional Library located at 14361 Yale Avenue in Irvine.

This workshop is free and will cover the federal financial aid form (FAFSA), as well as scholarships and student loans. Tax information will also be provided.

Finally, an educational conference will begin at 9:30 am on Friday, October 25, 2013 at the Educational Conference and Supervisor Training, 1107 Jamboree Road, Newport Beach.

This conference will update attendees on regulation and legal changes. Many businesses use business card printing to stay in touch with associates and potential business investors once events like these are over.
