Enjoy a taste of Hayward
May 29, 2012 by Mark
On Wednesday, June 6, the 2nd Annual Taste of Hayward will take place at the Hayward City Hall Rotunda located at 777B Street in Hayward, California. This event will run from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
Guests will enjoy a pleasant evening, sampling foods from some of the area’s finest caterers, retailers, restaurants, and fine-dining establishments. There will also be wine sampling from more than forty local wineries and vineyards. An assortment of wines, all local to the area, will be provided, including some of their more speciality wine blends. During this event, there will be a silent auction, a great raffle and prize board, and many door prizes. The event is sure to have guests who attend licking their lips at the tasty samples, scrumptious dessert offers, and relaxing evening wine sampling.
The “Taste of Hayward” event proceeds will go towards the Friends of the Library to help support their After-School Homework Support Center which assists children having difficulty at school. This funding may also provide additional money for some of the other programs being run at the library and additional donations will be accepted with thanks. Throughout the evening, there will be live music and an enjoyable atmosphere. Stationery printing and brochure printing for this evening have probably been used as a method to promote this event.
The cost to attend this event is $30 per person in advance and $40 per person at the door. For more information, please visit the library’s website or call Director Jack Papazian at 510-828-7459.
