Comic book writer to offer insights into his work

Fans of creative minds will not want to miss ‘Live Conversating and Podcastery with Famous Smart People’ with comic book writer Gerard Jones early next week.

Comedian Nato Green is host of the event, which is one in a series of public conversations and recorded live podcasts of interviews with famous brainboxes. Included are writers, musicians, and comedians.

Jones is based in San Francisco and has written graphic novels, comic books, nonfiction pieces, and plenty more to keep print companies busy over the years. Comics penned by the writer include those on on Batman, El Diablo, The Trouble with Girls, and Green Lantern. He has also appeared on The Today Show, BBC World News, Howard Stern, and PBS American Masters, and has been written about in the New York Times, the Times of London, USA Today, and the Newsday.

His interview can be heard at 7:00 pm on Monday, April 8, at the Stage Werx Theatre, 446 Valencia Street in San Francisco.
