Send Love to Japan – Charity Concert # 4
April 16, 2012 by James
On Sunday, April 22nd, the Gardena Buddhist Church will be hosting their 4th annual musical concert called “Send Love to Japan”. This concert will be held at the Gardena Buddhist Church located at 1517 W 166th Street in Gardena, California. The concert will take place from 12pm to 3pm and everyone is welcome to attend.
The “Send Love to Japan” concert series is in recognition of the anniversary of the great Japanese Earthquake that disrupted so many lives and caused so much destruction years ago. Even today, although the Japanese people have rallied and are slowly moving on, the healing and rebuilding continues at an enormous cost. This year’s musical performances are courtesy of Andrea Fischer known as Fluterscooter, Tulips in Harmony, and the Los Angeles Trombone Collective known as Cosmos Chorus. The doors will open to this concert event at 12pm with a Bazaar where the audience can buy some second hand treasures, some delicious foods, and some sushi to eat as they shop. The concert doors will open at 12:30pm and the concert will begin promptly at 1 pm. Any charity concert taking place in Gardena looking to maximise the amount of money raised for a good cause can benefit from consulting a local professional poster printing service.
This event is open to all, including toddlers and children. Tickets for this event are $15 per person for adults, $5 for children ages three to twelve, and children under two are free. For more information on this event, or to donate to the bazaar, please visit call the Gardena Buddhist Church at 310-327-4627.
