Koi Show Extraordinaire opens March

On Saturday, March 17th, and Sunday, March 18th, 2012 the 38th annual ZNA SoCal Chapter Open Koi Show will take place at the Gardena Civic Center Complex located at 1700 W 162nd St., Gardena, California. This event is sponsored by the City of Gardena Dept. of Recreation and Parks and will run Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm, and Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm.

Any printing services needed for flyer printing and other marketing materials will no doubt have been completed by now, and the show is being well advertised by various promotional methods. This event is open to the public and is free of charge, and will feature Lectures on how to keep Koi, Japanese Singers, Taiko Drummers, outstanding U.S. judges and ZNA judges from Japan, as well as an evening awards banquet.

Besides the above features there will also be Koi ponds, Vendors with products and information for or about Koi, a baby Koi sales sponsored by the ZNA, a live koi action at noon both days, judges commentary on the winning Koi, and a wonderful dinner.

This event is open to amateurs and professional who have Koi in their ponds, who raise Koi for sale. There will be a mountain of information available and this is a great opportunity to network with others who have similar interests. Today, Koi are raised domestically and have many variations, so this show will give an opportunity to preview upcoming Koi lines and patterns.
