Marine band to give annual Escondido concert

March 13, 2017 by

The 1st Marine Division will once again be offering the people of Escondido and the surrounding area two free concerts that showcase the range of their musical abilities.

The community’s California Center for the Arts will serve as the venue for the occasion, which will feature an assortment of styles of music. The musicians are serving members of the U.S. Marines at Camp Pendleton, and the two evenings of entertainment are being brought to the public in part through the sponsorship of MKT Advisors.

The concert is being offered free of charge, but those who are interested in attending are asked to reserve their tickets well ahead of time. People can book the section they wish to sit in, and they can then choose their specific seating on the night of the event. The lobby will open one hour ahead of the performance so that people will have time to select their seats. Digital copying can be used to produce copies of the program and other materials for an event like this.

The 1st Marine Division Band Annual Concert has been planned for April 4 and 5 in the California Center for the Arts, Escondido. Anyone who is interested in booking their tickets, or who wishes to find out more about the event, band, sponsor or venue is invited to visit the center’s website for additional details.
