Community groups celebrate Christmas in Escondido

Escondido merry folk can warm up for Christmas this evening, as The Escondido High School presents a Winter Concert of choral and band music at 7:30 pm tonight (December 11).
This performance is made up of the concert and advanced choirs, the concert and jazz bands, and the color guard. Tickets are $5 – $8 with infants under the age of two free.
Then, this weekend, West Coast Ballet Theatre will present ‘The Nutcracker’. This production features over 200 cast members with accompaniment by the San Diego Civic Youth Orchestra.
Show times are 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm on Saturday, December 15, and at 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm on Sunday, December 16, 2012.

340 North Escondido Boulevard, Escondido.
Moving into next week, The San Pasqual High School will present its 2012 Holiday Concert at 7:30 pm on Monday, December 17. This show will combine the talents of the choirs, band, dance members, and color guard into a memorable performance directed by Brian Lund. Tickets range from $6 to $12.
‘The Most Wonderful Time, A Christmas Celebration’ will also be presented by the Escondido Stake of Latter Day Saints Church at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, December 18 in the Concert Hall. Tickets are $2 – $7. There are certainly plenty of events to keep poster printing services in Escondido busy, by the looks of things.
