IPalpiti Music Festival of International Laureates arrives in Encinitas
July 4, 2012 by Sarah
From Thursday, July 12 until Sunday, July 15, the IPalpiti Music Festival will appear at the Encinitas Library based at 540 Cornish Drive in Encinitas, California. Performances will take place Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 2:00 pm.
This is the first year this music festival will appear in Encinitas and the performances at the library are sponsored in part by the City of Encinitas and other local community programs. Performances held here are just a small portion of the LA-based festival, which is expanding to include more performance in Encinitas. During this event, six young, international, award-winning, instrumental soloists will perform four special concerts. The iPappiti soloists appearing in Encinitas include Australian viola player Victor de Almeida, Russian piano player Svetlana Smolina, Austrian violin player Marie Radauer-Plank, and Norwegian violin player Catharina Chen, plus a few others.
The IPalpiti Festival came to Encinitas after Laura Schmieder and her husband approached the Commission for the Arts and, with a lot of hard work and dedication, the dream to have some of the festival in Encinitas came true. The iPalpiti Artist International is renowned for advancing the careers of the young and talented musicians and for promoting understanding and peace using music.
Poster printing and brochure printing may have been used to promote this event to the public and fans of the festival. Tickets for this event cost $10 per person and can be purchased online. For more information about this concert, please visit the Encinitas Library website or call 760-633-2746.
