Doggie Street Festival 2012

June 9, 2012 by

On Sunday, June 10th, the Doggie Street Festival will take place at Robb Field located at 2525 Bacon Street in Ocean Beach, California, a short drive down the road from Encinitas, California. This event runs from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

This is a new location for this event as the parking is free. This event brings together more than 25 animal rescue agencies and organization, including city shelters and humane societies, to find homes for rescued pets through adoption. As in past years, there are many animals that need adoption and this year’s festival will also feature adoptable cats. This is a laid back festival with a street party atmosphere whose star attractions are the lovable pets that need “Forever Homes”. A number of pet care professionals, including veterinarians, will be there to provide advice on health care, nutrition, spaying, and neutering. This festival will have a number of pet vendors present with all kinds of pet products to sell. There will also be a silent auction to help support this worthy festival. While at the festival, guests will have the opportunity to talk to some of the world’s greatest animal trainers, as well.

There is no admission to attend this festival. This is a rain or shine event. This is a non-profit festival that celebrates pets as companions with loads of educational materials available and lots of fun activities. Print companies may have prepared the flyer printing and poster printing used to advertise this event.
