29th Annual Encinitas April Street Fair
April 16, 2012 by Sarah
On Saturday, April 28th and Sunday, April 29th the 29th Annual Encinitas April Street Fair will be held at South Coast Highway between the streets D and J. This event is scheduled to run from 9am to 5pm.
This street fair has grown each year since its conception and today this year there will be more than 450 individual and unique crafts, arts, and food vendors, as well as five stages featuring live music, children’s ride, and the refreshing Beer Garden Stage. The Beer Garden Stage is sponsored by the Stone Brewing Company. This is a family friendly event with so many festivities that everyone will enjoy a fantastic time. The North County Transit will be running special trains all weekend and have been arranged with special fares so families can leave the cars at home. There will be two for one fare all weekend long. The train stops one block from the event. This year there will be five performing stages and ten bands and solo artists each day. There are hundreds of unique booths selling everything from clothing to home décor, and no doubt many vendors will have taken advantage of the banner printing services that Encinitas has to offer.
Suggested parking locations for this event include the City Hall, Moonlight Beach Parking lot, and both Coaster Station Parking Lots. Vendors interested in participating in this event are asked to call Brian Roth at 760-945-9288. There is no admission to this event. For additional information on this event, visit the Encinitas April Street Fair website or call the DEMA office at 760-943-1950.
