‘Wicked, the untold story of the witches of Oz’ is underway at the SHN Orpheum Theatre and will be on show until mid-February.

Wicked is the winner of three Tony Awards, a Grammy, and 34 other major awards. Based upon the characters from ‘The Wizard of Oz’ the show tells the tale of two girls—the misunderstood Elphaba with the green skin and the beautiful Glinda—whose future lives are defined by their childhood experiences.

Fans of The Wizard of Oz will recognize certain moments from the show as they take place in the background of Wicked. This show is recommended for children age eight and up, and no children under the age of five are allowed.

The theatre uses dynamic pricing so tickets purchased early will be cheaper depending upon demand. The last time the show was performed in San Francisco it sold out quickly.

The performance lasts nearly three hours including intermission. Tickets are $50 – $275 at the Orpheum in, San Francisco, 40 minutes from Dublin. The show began running on January 23 and continues up until February 17.

Also currently on offer, the musical comedy “Anything Goes” can be seen at the Golden Gate Theatre in San Francisco through February 3. This musical won three Tony Awards in 2011. Tickets are $40 – $200 depending on the day of the week.

With a pair of exciting musical available, poster printing will make an excellent souvenir and memento of a great evening out with family and friends.
