Santa is coming to breakfast in Dublin

Dublin is getting firmly in the festive spirit and, to celebrations off to a magical start, Santa will share breakfast with kids this Saturday, December 8.

Seating times are 8:30 am, 9:45 am, and 11:00 am at the Shannon Community Center, 11600 Shannon Avenue, Dublin. Tickets are $10 for residents and $12 for non-residents. In addition to Santa’s company, participating kids can enjoy there will be pancakes, sausage, juice, and coffee. Photo opportunities will be available with Santa. The following Saturday, December 15, is the date for the annual Dublin Holiday Tea. The event will begin at 1:00 pm at the Heritage Park and Museums, 6600 Donlon Way, Dublin. Tickets are $25 per person. Lunch will feature lemon curd, scones, tea, finger sandwiches, and cheese, followed by dessert. Tours of the decorated Kolb House will be available following the tea. Seniors can get into the mood the evening before that, with a holiday dance on Friday, December 14, featuring the music of Lady K and the Kings of Swing. The dance will be held from 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm at the Dublin Senior Center, 7600 Amador Valley Blvd, Dublin. Tickets are $10 for residents and $12 for non-residents and guests under the age of 50. The holidays are a wonderful time to spend with family and friends, so Dublin residents should not forget to take photos of the events and create a visual year in review. Having copies made at a local print company to send out to family, friends and business acquaintances in the New Year would be a beautiful touch.
