Tomorrow, September 13, is the week for cooking demonstrations, with Chef Mario and his team. It will also feature a pulled pork cook off for local residents, who can bring already prepared homemade pulled pork to be judged by a local celebrity panel.
Thursday, September 20, will feature entertainment by local groups, featuring music, theater, and dance, including the Dublin High Jazz Band performing at 6:00 pm. Tom McCarthy, Dublin Chief of Police, will have coffee with residents in an informal get-together.
The last Thursday of the season, September 27, will conclude with family night, featuring games, activities, crafts, face painting, a mobile museum, and Checkers the Clown. For adults, wine tasting will be hosted by the Dublin Lions Club, with Chouinard Vineyards and Little Valley Winery featured.
The farmers’ market is held in partnership with Pacific Coast Farmers’ Market Association. Emerald Glen Park is located at 4201 Central Parkway, Dublin. The Market is held this year near the playground on the corner of Central Parkway and Tassajara Road.
The park also features basketball and baseball areas, drinking fountains, barbecue grills, and picnic areas. There are also walkways and trails for familie,s as well as a water play area. Banner printing could be a great way to direct visitors to the city to local events such as a farmers’ market.
