For anyone who has ever wondered how businesses create their magic to attract customers, the seminar, ‘Customer Experience – Winners, Losers…and the Ones to Watch’ is one not to be missed.

Beginning at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, May 8, this seminar will highlight the ups and downs of companies like Amazon, Apple, Starbucks, Best Buy, and others. Guests can use the session to learn how to make a business more profitable, better, and different to attract the customers.

Close to Dana Point, this event will be held at The Buddy Group, 7 Studebaker in Irvine. Tickets are $25 at the door, and it might be worth taking a few digital business cards along to this one.

Another seminar taking place the following day, May 9, will offer information to companies to help them stay abreast of the latest details and requirements as the Affordable Care Act (ACA) gets into effect.

Failure to implement measures in a timely manner could result in fines and tax issues. Juliette Meunier, a partner at Ernst & Young, will offer advice on regulations required by the IRS code and how businesses can best comply with the new law – thus avoiding any skirmishes.

Sharis Minassian, also with Ernst & Young, will be speaking on retirement plans, compensation and benefits. Other topics of conversation include human resource practices and risks, employee benefit programs, health care reform, and cost management.

The seminar begins at 11:30 am at TechSpace, 65 Enterprise, The Café in Aliso Viejo. Lunch will be served for participants.
