Canadian company opens U.S. headquarters in Orange County

SweetIQ, a Canadian tech startup, issued a press release on August 8 announcing the opening of its new U.S. headquarters in Orange County (OC).

A local marketing platform, SweetIQ has experienced significant growth, a 400% increase in its American market since the start of 2016. Its new OC office will facilitate the company’s planned for sales and customer success team expansion serving the Southwest and U.S. West Coast markets.

The company, which launched is sales operations here in the U.S. in 2015, assists F500 retailers to increase in-store foot traffic. It does this by making brick and mortar store locations more easily found online. SweetIQ’s Chief Revenue Officer, Michael Mire, explained this in the company’s press release as follows:

“With the results our Fortune 500 clients are seeing, word is spreading very quickly about how retailers are able to drive in-store foot traffic through our programmatic local marketing campaigns.”

This is good news for Dana Point companies trying to build an effective online presence to augment their use of mailing services, promotional products and other marketing tools.

Established in 2010, the Canadian company is headquartered in Montreal. Its new Orange County office is located in Irvine and is expecting to hire about 30 employees. A third of those new hires are to be Inside Sales Associates with the remainder slated to be National Sales Representatives.
