Something old, something new in Old Town Clovis

March 5, 2013 by

The annual Spring Antiques and Collectibles Fair is on its way in later March and, in addition to regular dealers, there will be new arrivals in town for the event with over 90 dealers combined, so guests can look forward to some new surprises.

The event will be held rain or shine, so it would be wise to bring an umbrella just in case. This event is the first of four that are scheduled to be held in Old Town this year.

There will be coffee and donuts available for early arriving dealers. Check-in will be located on Pollasky, south of Bullard only.

Public admission will include shopping, food vendors serving Mexican food, the usual hamburgers and corn dogs, as well as pizza, tri tip sandwiches, shaved ice, and kettle corn. Old Town restaurants and stores will also be open during the event.

The event will be held on Sunday, March 24 and free appraisals will be offered from 9:00 am – 11:00 am and again from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm by Kathy Osterberg-Sobelman at the information booth near 433 Pollasky Avenue. Only one item per individual will be appraised. Brochure printers are an ideal way for antique dealers to keep track of their inventory and showcase it to prospective buyers.

There will be another Antique and Collectible event held on September 29, and there will also be two Glorious Junk Days held on May 26 and October 20, featuring flea market dealers, shabby chic items, and repurposed items. Dealer space for these dates will be reduced.
