Carlsbad Chamber to host breakfast June 1

Business owners might have had good time to look at what well-designed digital business cards mean to them during the recently hosted Ready Carlsbad presentation “Social media and Public Safety” but, as is par for the course with the chamber, there are a couple of other notable events coming up. With the Vista Strawberry Festival and the June First Friday Breakfast inching closer on the calendar, local business owners and residents have a lot of reasons to be excited.

Being held through the combined efforts of the Vista Village Business Association and the Vista Chamber of Commerce, the annual strawberry festival will be taking place on May 27. Starting fairly early in the morning at 8:00 am, this will be an all-day affair with advertisements showing a closing time of 6:00 pm. As an event aimed at the community as a whole, there’s no better way to enjoy the great weather. People are being encouraged to come out and participate.

With the June 1 breakfast coming up, it’s also clear that the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce is looking to start off the month on a high note. Being hosted at the Hilton Garden Inn, there’s no question that the location was well-chosen. During this one, Richard Davis of Arbor Scientia-Medical Communications Company will be presenting “Learn the Elements of Persuasion” to members of the business community. Whether taking a second look at printing services like flyer printing and stationery printing or doing something new entirely, persuasion is an important part of how businesses interact with people.

Potential attendees are advised to contact the chamber.
