Last chances to sample some seasonal offerings

Brentwood and Antioch residents are unlikely to want to miss the Nature’s Canvas now it its last week of display.
The artwork will be on display at the Lynn House Gallery, 809 West 1st Street, Antioch through October 26. Hours are 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
The exhibit features paintings of nature by local artists in the area. The exhibit is free to the public and is presented by the Arts & Cultural Foundation of Antioch.
Also, ending soon will be the Farmers’ Market in Brentwood. Located on First Street between Oak and Chestnut Street, the event offers residents an opportunity to purchase fresh produce grown locally and baked goods.
The market is open on Saturdays from 8:00 am to noon. Each week live entertainment is provided by a visiting band.

Alternatively, residents looking for a spooky time can dress up for the Harvest Park Halloween Costume Party, which will be held on Saturday, October 26, from 9:00 pm to 1:00 am at the Harvest Park Bowl, 5000 Balfour Road in Brentwood. Prizes will be given for the best costumes, but please note that admission is limited to those aged 21 and older.
