Brentwood breezes in with day of seasonal cheer

Christmas Day is just over a month away, and that means it’s time for the Holiday Parade and Winter Walk About in Downtown Brentwood, taking place later today.
There will be plenty of opportunities for fun available, with pictures of Santa, kids’ activities, Christmas carolers, and a Taste of Downtown walking and restaurant tour. Those who have no idea what to buy that special someone in their life should check out the large selection of arts and crafts booths and get an early start on Christmas purchases.
The parade will begin in the evening at Chestnut and First, turn right on Maple, and then right on Second Street. Viewing stands will be located by the Veterans Hall, near TL Cakes, and on the left hand side of Maple.
Parade applications are available on the chamber of commerce website, as are requests to be an art and craft vendor. Parade entry fees are $25 for chamber members and $35 for non-members. Additional entry fees are available on the website.
The event is sponsored by the Downtown Brentwood Coalition and the Brentwood Chamber of Commerce. Admission is free, but tickets for A Taste of Downtown are $10 in advance and $15 the day of the event.
The event will be held from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm today, with the illuminated parade beginning at 5:30 pm.
Many businesses and organizations, both profit and non-profit, use printing services for their business needs and community outreach programs.
