Photos with Santa will be available for $5 and refreshments will be provided by the Corner Bakery. For information on this, call (714) 990-7771.

Also getting people in a festive mood, Christmas lights will be on display in Eagle Hills. Parking will be available at Brea Sports Park. Lights will be on from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm. Tours by trolley will be available at the Brea Community Center, 695 East Madison Way, from December 5 – 20, 2012 and will last approximately 45 minutes. Tickets are $7 per person purchased in advance and money raised will benefit the senior transportation program.

Kind-hearted Brea residents can help those in need by donating non-perishable food times to the Brea Community Emergency Council Annual Holiday Basket Program which helps to feed more than 1,000 families each year. Donations can be given to the Brea Senior Center, Brea Community Center, the Community Services Counter in the Brea Civic and Cultural Center, local Brea schools, and the city maintenance yard until December 19, 2012.

Volunteers will then be needed to help sort the food and pack boxes prior to December 21. In addition volunteers can adopt a family for the holidays and purchase gift items for them. Three wish trees will be located at the front desk of the Community Services department, the Senior Center, and the Brea Family Resource Center until December 14, 2012.

Christmas is a time of giving, and these event offer plenty of Christmas photo opportunities, with postcard printing an economical way to send them to family members.
