Fans of three-part harmony are sure to enjoy the upcoming concerts at the Curtis Theatre this month.

First of all, the Alley Cats will return to the Curtis Theatre for night of humor with song on February 8 – 10. This a cappella group blends the vocalists’ voices in close harmony as they perform classic doo-wop hits like ‘Blue Moon’, ‘Only You’, ‘Love Potion #9’, ‘Smoke Gets in Your Eyes’, and ‘The Lion Sleeps Tonight’.

Tickets to this evening of fun for all ages are $30 for adults, $26 for seniors, and $23 for children. Show times are 8:00 pm on Friday and Saturday and 2:00 pm on Sunday.

After that, poster printing is likely to be underway to promote the musical trio Golden Bough, who will pay tribute to its Irish and Scottish roots in ‘America Bound’ at 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm on Saturday, February 23. In addition to its three-part harmony, the group will also perform with a Celtic harp, accordion, octave mandolin, bodhran, violin, guitar, and penny whistle. Tickets are $25 for adults, $22 for seniors, and $23 for children.

The theater is located at 1 Civic Center Circle, Brea, in the Brea Civic and Cultural Center of the 57 freeway. Parking is free and the facility is wheelchair accessible. For more information call (714) 990-7722.

Patrons who purchase a ticket to the theatre can receive a special three course dinner at the Melting Pot for only $25. Tickets must be purchased at the box office at the same time as the show tickets.
