Chamber to host Mayor’s Luncheon

With both the Mayor’s Luncheon and a Networking Mixer to look forward to, Berkeley-based entrepreneurs have at least a couple of constructive events ahead.

On June 12, the chamber will be hosting the Mayor’s Luncheon from noon until 1:30 pm. Going by the appropriate title of “The State of Business in Berkeley,” this is a great opportunity for companies to better understand what people are all about. As most businesspeople can already attest, there’s no understating the role that government plays in the success of local companies. Featuring a full presentation from the honorable Mayor Tom Bates, members of the business community will be able to hear about the latest developments in Berkeley and also engage the Mayor in constructive two-way dialogue.

Sitting at a current cost of $45 for members and $50 for guests, pre-registration and payment is required. Considering the networking opportunities taking place a little before the main event and the chance the event provides to be politically engaged, it definitely can’t do any harm for local professionals to consider coming to The Berkeley City Club for this.

If there was ever any doubt that business cards and specific printing services will be needed in time for June, the Sunset Networking Mixer being held on June 14 is all the proof that’s needed. Being held on a yacht, with great food and even a bar expected, this is the type of networking event that local professionals will be able to talk about for days. Interested individuals will want to sign up right away to get a discount.
