Music industry converges on Anaheim

With its slogan of “Amplify Your Success”, the 2014 NAMM Show will be underway here in Anaheim on January 23-26. Musicians from all over the world will converge on the city to view the latest the music technology industry has to offer.

Eastman Guitars of Pomona, California will be using the 2014 NAMM Show to launch its 10th anniversary yearlong celebration. In 2004, the company debuted its archtop guitars and then rapidly grew its product line to include handcrafted traditional mandolins, flattop acoustics and a thinline type hollow-body electric guitar. Many first time exhibitors will be hoping this year’s event can be a springboard to a success story like Eastman’s.

Between brochure and banner printing for companies promoting their product lines, printing companies will be kept busy. For four days the Anaheim Convention Centre will be a hotbed of industry networking as products are launched and deals are made. Every aspect of the music industry will be on hand; there will be manufacturers of instruments, audio and lighting equipment.

Although this is an important event for exhibitors and buyers it will be a fun one as well. Live entertainment will be available on The Grand Plaza Stage as well as The Venue Stage and there will be hands-on music making opportunities and product demos. Among attendees will be 56 graduate and undergraduate students who received the 2013 NAMM President’s Innovation Award.

The show will take place at the Anaheim Convention Centre, 800 West Katella Avenue, and tickets are available at the NAMM website.
