Get ready for the 4th of July Family Fun Fest
June 15, 2012 by Sarah
Summer is right around the corner, most kids are out of school, and the time for celebrating is at hand. It is time for loose clothing, vacations, grilling out, and enjoying fun-filled outdoor activities. This year at Moreno Valley, less than an hour’s drive east of Anaheim, there will be a “United We Stand” 4th of July Festival.
The event will feature two live music stages. On stage one, a Tribute to Billy Joel will be presented by Michael John, a tribute to Fleetwood Mac and Steve Nicks will be performed by Bella Donna, and a Tribute to U2 will be staged by Joshua Tree. On stage two, there will be performances by The Streetlights and Aces & Thieves.
Families are invited to come out early and enjoy a day filled with entertaining activities. There will be delicious food, tasty wine, cold beer, and thrilling rides for participants to enjoy. There will also be arts and crafts booths for vendors to display and sell their wares. They can advertise their products and possibly drum up future business by investing in business card printing and flyer printing. A parade and an essay writing contests, for which prizes will be awarded, also make up part of the weekend.
Children, especially, are likely to enjoy their experience at the petting zoo and will want to go for a pony ride, while those who are in the right age category can participate in the Moreno Valley Idol Contest. The day will conclude with the National Anthem and a fireworks display. Tickets range from $2 to $3 per person. Military with proper ID and children under 5 get in free.
