Arts and Fine Crafts Festival in Anaheim
April 11, 2012 by Mark
On Sunday, April 22nd, the City National Grove of Anaheim will be hosting the “Arts and Fine Crafts Festival”. The City National Grove of Anaheim is located at 2200 East Katella Avenue in Anaheim, California. This event will begin at 10am and run through until 5pm.
The Anaheim Arts Council, in co-operation with The City National Grove of Anaheim, has created a one day “all arts and fine crafts” festival on the grounds of The City National Grove at the corner of Katella Avenue. This event will have a number of local artists with featured artworks on display in watercolor, acrylic, oil, and mixed media in realism, surrealism, impressionism, and abstract ready to be purchased and hung in a new home or office. Print companies may have prepared the limited edition prints found at the various artists’ tents.
Besides fine artist, this festival will feature the handiwork of fine crafters as well. There will be jewelry, pottery, fabric arts, sculptures, and a selection of outdoor garden art. A children’s play area has been established with many things for the children to create and play. This festival will have rolling lunch trucks, a children’s art area, a green room for performing artisans, and live music.
This event is free to all. This is a rain or shine event and guests are asked to dress appropriately and bring hats, sunscreen, and a blanket or sweater. For additional information, or to register as an artisan or crafter, please visit the Anaheim Art Council’s website, or call 714-868-6094.
