August 19, 2012 by Mark
Anaheim Film Festival & Media Arts Expo is set to entertain film-buffs in the city this October. Altogether, it is expected that there will be 127 feature shorts and films, filmmakers representing 30 different countries, millions of media impressions, 88 partners and sponsors, and over 5,000 attendees. Accomplished film artists in local, national, and international film communities will be honored during the five days with an inspiring environment designed to nurture the emerging talents of independent filmmakers.
During the festival, there will be student films, feature films, live action, animated shorts, and documentaries from around the globe, along with an intense lineup of tributes, industry panels, retrospectives, star-studded gala events, and workshops for theater lovers. The Media Arts Expo portion of the festival will be held Friday through Sunday of the week, beginning October 26 and lasting through the end of the Anaheim International Film Festival. The expo will feature free entertainment-related industry highlighting and networking with peers, along with distribution and production deal-making lessons by industry trendsetters and leaders.
The event will begin on October 24, and will run for five action-parked days and evenings until October 28 at the Anaheim Garden Walk, located at 321 W Katella Ave. Print companies are probably finishing up on flyer and poster printing to advertise this world-class cultural event. Prices vary for each of the festival events, from $50 for opening night festivities, to the closing wrap party costing $25 per person for the party and screening.
