All fun and no gore during Halloween in Anaheim
October 10, 2013 by James
Anaheim residents, as well as those visiting the area, can enjoy the “happiest place on Earth” transformed into the “happiest scary place on Earth” all through the month of October.
While some of Disneyland’s Halloween type attractions, such as the Haunted Mansion, are open all year round, at this time of year the park takes things up a notch. Tasteful, not gory, Halloween fun is available throughout the month at Disneyland.
Through October 31, Disneyland will once again host Mickey’s Halloween Party and trick-or-treating in the park is still available. A special ticket is required for Mickey’s party and the trick-or-treating, which takes place only on select dates. These child-oriented activities are not too scary, even for very young children.
Additionally, Ghost Galaxy is making a return at Space Mountain. Frontierland will have a Dia de los Muertos display and Disney’s unforgettable villains will be out in full force. A stroll down Main Street, eerily lit by hundreds of jack-o-lanterns, is also likely to be worth a visit. Even the Haunted Mansion gets a Halloween makeover by being decked out in its ‘Nightmare Before Christmas’ décor.
Realizing the cohesive effects of such a fun activity, many employers engage the services of a company offering flyer printing in order to promote an employee evening together. Attending season events at the same venue every year is a tradition enjoyed by many. Events such as this that take place over the course of a whole month make it easier for a group to work around everyone’s schedule.
