The Neptune Festival is a series of events that take place in Virginia Beach officially beginning on the last weekend of September. However, there are many pre-festival events held in the city. Two of those events are Neptune’s Surfing Classic and Neptune’s Fall Wine Festival which both take place over one weekend.
Neptune’s Surfing Classic is sanctioned by the Eastern Surfing Association. Over the two-days spectators can enjoy great surfing action from some of the best surfers in the country. The competition consists of 20 categories including boys, jr. women, juniors, legends, sr. men’s, ladies and masters.
The 17th annual Neptune’s Fall Wine Festival will feature the product of Virginia wineries and vineyards. Guests can also enjoy live entertainment and food; the wines featured will also be available for both tasting and sale. It is a great opportunity for local wine merchants and producers to introduce themselves to the general public.
Virginia Beach printing companies have do doubt been approached by organizers of both of these events to provide marketing materials such as booklets, brochures and flyers.
Neptune’s Surfing Classic will take place oceanfront at 8th Street from September 7 to 8. For more information or to register for the competition, call 757-696-1050.
The Fall Wine Festival is also taking place on Saturday, September 7 to Saturday, September 8 at Neptune’s Park. Tickets are $30 in advance for Saturday are $30 in advance or $35 at the gate and $25 in advance for Sunday and $30 at the door; umbrella tables for eight are also available.
