Ongoing Neptune Festival to get the wine flowing

May 6, 2013 by

The 40th annual Neptune Festival is currently in progress in Virginia Beach. Two events coming up this month will be highlighting local and international wines, which will appeal to both connoisseurs and those who just like the occasional tipple.

The 7th annual Town Center Art and Wine Festival will feature a variety of local and international wines for sampling, food, an art show with over 40 participating sellers, and music from Mike Proffitt and the Ben Phelps Project. All guests will receive a souvenir wine glass included in their admission price.

The 10th annual International Spring Wine Festival will also feature international and local wines and tastings. There will be musical performances by Lewis McGehee and Rockstar Parking. All visitors will be given a collectible wine glass.

Organizers will likely be working with Virginia Beach printing companies to prepare for the wine festivals. This might include banners to highlight various areas, and flyers and posters to advertise the events to the general public.

The Town Center Art and Wine Festival will take place at Virginia Beach Town Center on May 11 from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Admission is $25 in advance or $30 on the day, and tables are available for $150 for four or $300 for eight.
After that, the International Spring Wine Festival will be held at Neptune’s Park on May 18 from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 on the day, and tables of eight are available for $350.
