Experience wine from around the world

The 9th annual International Spring Wine Festival will take place at Neptune’s Park on May 19th from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the gate; an umbrella table for eight is available for $350. A limited amount of tickets will be sold and everyone receives a commemorative wine glass to use for wine samplings.

The festival will feature live entertainment from Mike Proffitt and the Ben Phelps Project, there will be food samples and wine samplings from Argentina, Australia, Chile, France, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, Spain and the Virginia Beach area. Wines will also be available for purchase.

Local printing companies will no doubt be helping the organizers of the event with banner printing, poster printing and ticket printing services. Each booth set up for each wine will need a banner with either the company name or the names of the wines being offered up for sampling. Banners also add a festive air to any outdoor event such as this. Posters will no doubt be seen all over the area advertising this popular annual event and encouraging the community to turn out.

This sounds like the perfect way to celebrate a spring day by the ocean. While people get to sample wines from around the world, they also have to opportunity to be introduced to local wines that they might not have experienced before. This is a great chance for those local companies to expand, hire more people and help the overall economy of the region.
