CultureWorks to highlight the arts and culture of Richmond

The 3rd Arts and Culture Xpo, a presentation of CultureWorks, will take place in Richmond at the end of June, offering an opportunity for new artists to become known in the community.

This annual expo features a variety of the arts, including dance, theater, and visual art. Those who register as Cultural Shareholders are given free Xpo bucks to invest in those artists they like, which translates to real money from CultureWorks for those chosen. This year, over 73 organizations are expected to take part in the Xpo.

There will be two performance stages set up, hands-on demonstrations and informational booths about local arts and culture organizations. Everyone who attends will likely discover at least one new artists or performer whose career they will wish to follow, with plenty of variety being on show.

Sponsorships are also available for local business and individuals for $50, and local businesses will no doubt want to help the expo become a great success for all of those involved. Sponsorship will likely provide money for the organizers of this Richmond expo to advertise, which this might include investing in flyer printing services from local print companies, as well as other locally-sourced print services.

The Arts and Culture Xpo will take place at the Greater Richmond Convention Center on June 28 from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. Admission is free and anyone who is aged 18 or over can register to become Cultural Shareholders. For more information, call CultureWorks at 804-340-5280.
