Grape expectations in Norfolk this weekend

The Town Point Virginia Wine Festival is one of the state’s best and largest outdoor wine festivals and features more than 20 of Virginia State’s wineries every year.
This is one of the most renowned wine festivals in the country and is beside the Downtown Norfolk waterfront. Now in its seventh year, organizers might be in search of catalog printing to list all the available drinks.
During this festival, music will float in the air as wine enthusiasts sample many of Virginia wineries finest beverages. There will also be a selection of gourmet foods to taste, all made from the fine foods grown in Virginia.
Guests will have the chance to shop among the onsite retailers, who will have specialty crafts and an assortment of wine accessories to offer. The wines enjoyed at this festival are all available to buy by the glass, case, or bottle. This outdoor wine festival has something for everyone to enjoy, and is an opportunity to bring a loved one or a friend and head down to taste some of Virginia wineries finest blends.

Saturday’s sampling ticket cost $30 and Sunday’s cost $25, and includes admission. All wine sampling ends at 4:30 pm, while case sales end at 5:00 pm, and those in search of wine should remember to bring photo ID.
