Chocaholic festival returns to McLean

January 19, 2014 by

The 3rd annual McLean Chocolate Festival is coming up at the end of January. The event is hosted by the Rotary Club of McLean and a portion of the proceeds raised will go to support various local charities.

A variety of chocolate vendors will be on hand to provide samples and sell merchandise. Those already confirmed include Godiva, Fair Trade Winds and Rocky Mountain Chocolate. All businesses are welcome to take part if they sell anything related to chocolate. Every guest through the door will receive a gift bag, compliments of the Greater McLean Chamber of Commerce.

In addition, there will be a game room for children, featuring chocolate-themed activities; Rotary club members and Langley high school students will help with the activities. Guests can also relax in the refreshment room. It should be the perfect festival for those of any age who love chocolate.

The festival is being very well advertised in the community. This includes a promotional poster, yard signs, events programs and rack cards. Advertisements have also been taken out in local newspapers. When organizers of events such as this need these types of advertising materials they often invest in services from McLean printing companies.

The McLean Chocolate Festival is taking place at the McLean Community Center on January 26 from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Admission is $2 or free for children under the age of 6. To find out more about activities taking place during the event, visit the Rotary Club of McLean’s website.
