Taste of Reston offers family-friendly fun
May 27, 2013 by Mark
The 23rd annual Taste of Reston is taking place over two days this June. Last year’s event was named “Best Food Festival in Northern Virginia” by Virginia Living Magazine.
Taste of Reston is a presentation of the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce. In addition to food samples from many area restaurants, there will also be beverages for sale, entertainment on the Pavilion Stage and two other stages, carnival rides, a family fun area, informational tables and business exhibit booths.
Those businesspersons who wish to exhibit their products and services can rent a booth for $750 for chamber members or $1,000 for non-members. Exhibiting will allow them to market their businesses to many in the community, who might be unaware of what they have to offer, or to form relationships with some of their fellow business peers. It’s likely that many of those planning to exhibit at the Taste of Reston will be investing in such products as banners, signs and business cards. Sponsorships of up to $12,500 are also available.
The Taste of Reston will take place from June 14 – 15 at Reston Town Center. Admission is free. A wristband is available for $20 in advance or $25 at the gate which will allow for unlimited carnival rides, and the carnival will continue on June 16 from 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm. For more information contact the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce at 703-989-9234, or visit its website for details of future goings-on in the area.
