Give a dog a home for the holidays

Reston Town Center will host ‘Home 4 the Holidays’ next month and the event, presented by GoodDogz, is expected to welcome over 40 animal rescue and dog breeders, drawing an average of 3,000 visitors each year.
Home 4 the Holidays is a national campaign that is sponsored by Iams and the Helen Woodward Animal Center. The goal for this year is to adopt out 1.5 million pets worldwide. The event will feature vendors selling dog-related merchandise such as food, collars, and toys, with demonstrations and informational exhibits from organizations such as Bull Terrier Rescue of VA, K-9 Lifesavers, and Pets for Vets also on offer. Of course, plenty of dogs looking for a good home will also be there.
Non-profit organizations can rent a 10 x 10 space for $75, while commercial vendors pay $300. Vendors who are taking part in this important event will no doubt be working with Reston printing companies to help them prepare. They might want to invest in banner printing, sign printing, and flyer printing services to draw attention to their booths.
The organizer, GoodDogz, is a body that seeks to increase the number of dogs finding homes, while also ensuring that the dog-to-family relationship is the right one for both parties. Sponsors for the event include The Hope Center, The Life Center, and Novadog Magazine.
Reston Town Center will host the event on November 3 from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. For more information, call Mark Bates from GoodDogz on 571-233-4557.
