Join the Chamber Network of Enterprising Women for lunch

March 16, 2012 by

The Chamber Network of Enterprising Women (CNEW) holds a monthly networking luncheon at the Fredericksburg County Club from 11:30 am-1 pm. Tickets are $19.50 for Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce members and $30 for non-members.

The CNEW luncheon takes place on the third Thursday of every month. Each luncheon includes time to network prior to lunch, a member’s marketing table, and a raffle; each attendee is also expected to introduce themselves to the group. The member’s marketing table is a great opportunity for business to show what they have to offer. Fredericksburg brochure printers can work with a company to provide a colorful brochure that describes their products and services and that will appeal to other business owners looking to grow their referral network.

The luncheon on March 20 will feature Susannah Williams who will discuss:

“Couponing for personal and business use.”

Couponing is a hot topic right now and Ms. Williams will no doubt point those in attendance in the right direction to take advantage of the coupons that are available everywhere; online, in newspaper inserts, in stores and in flyers received in your mail box.

The topic for the luncheon on April 17 will be “Social media: makeover and mistakes” presented by Kris Spilter. Social media sites such as Facebook are becoming more important to business every day. Costly mistakes can definitely be made if you don’t know what you are doing.

It is recommended that you attend at least one networking event a month so why not make it one where you can enjoy a good lunch and learn something new?
