The CBS 6 Healthy Lifestyle Expo will be taking place this weekend in Richmond. A portion of the proceeds will go to support Rebuild Richmond Together.

There will be many different activities taking place over the day that should appeal to people of any age or fitness level. Visitors to the expo will be able to take part in free health advice and cooking demonstrations. There are also set to be plenty of activities for families to participate in.

Special guests who are expected to make an appearance at the show are gymnast Shannon Miller, Billy Blanks Jr., and Sharon Catherine Blanks. The Blanks will be holding a Dance it Out workshop and Miller will be talking about her life and the challenges it has posed for her.

In addition, there will be health-related seminars presented by area experts on topics such as heart disease and weight loss. Several local organizations will also be on hand to provide information on their products and services.

No doubt this expo should attract many people from the area, including nearby Ashland, who are interested in living healthier lifestyles. To help advertise such events as these, local print companies are often asked to provide marketing materials such as poster and flyers. These items can then be distributed throughout the community with very little added cost.

The expo will take place at the Greater Richmond Convention Center on February 1 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. Admission is $3 for adults and free for children under 12 years of age. To find out more about the event, call 804-342-8797.
