Home show on its way back to Doswell

December 18, 2013 by

The 4th annual Virginia Home and Garden Show is taking place in Doswell for two days this January.

The show is set to feature more than 125 exhibitors from the Virginia area who will represent many industries and businesses, including pool installers, gardeners, landscape designers, contractors, home designers, and window experts. The aim of the show is to convince residents to buy local and to offer a place to go to get expert advice on anything related to the home and garden.

A Taste of Virginia will also be taking place during the show. This is expected to feature a number of local wineries, restaurants, and caterers out to promote their businesses to the general public. Guests will have the opportunity to sample a wide variety of foods and drinks from these companies, and the event will also feature locally produced arts and crafts for sale.

Many of the exhibitors planning to take part, some of whom are likely to come from surrounding areas such as Ashland, will probably go all out in preparing for the show. This may include working with local printing companies to create and print special signage or banners, which will only help to draw more attention to the exhibitors’ booths and could result in increased sales.

The Virginia Home and Garden Show is taking place at the Meadow Event Park in Doswell over the weekend of January 25 to 26. Admission is $5, or free to those aged 16 and under. To learn more about the show, call 804-748-5813.
