Holiday party to celebrate small business

November 16, 2013 by

The Government Technology and Services Coalition (GTSC) is holding its annual Holiday Awards party this December. A portion of the proceeds will go to support the Border Patrol Foundation.

The evening is set to consist of cocktails, an Italian buffet, entertainment, and an awards presentation. Some of the awards to be handed out include best of the year for Federal Small Business Champions, Market Maven, Strategic Partner, Mentor, and Small Business Member.

Sponsorships are also available from $500 to $2,000, and those who can’t attend are encouraged to donate money to the Border Patrol Foundation, which helps to support the families of those agents who have been killed while on duty.

This party will no doubt be an excellent networking opportunity for those in government and owners of small businesses. With plenty of chances to discuss business during the evening’s activities likely, many of those in attendance will surely be bringing along a few extra business cards to exchange with those they meet.

It’s likely that the organization has sent out invitations to GTSC members and others in the Arlington area. Local printing companies are often called upon to provide such materials in preparation for get-togethers like this one.

The 2013 Holiday Awards are being held at the arlington Arts Center on December 10 from 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm. Tickets are free for GTSC members and government officials or $75 for the general public. To learn more about the event, or to become a sponsor, call 703-201-7198
