Fall with the family makes for an exciting celebration

The Family Fall Festival will take place at Armistead L. Boothe Park and is presented by the Alexandria Department of Recreation, Parks, and Cultural Activities and the Kinder Learning Centers.

There will be plenty of activities for every member of the family to take part in at the fair. There will be children’s activities such as face painting and crafts, puppet shows from the Beale Street Puppets, music from the Skystone Band, games, pumpkin painting, hay rides, exhibits from local companies and organizations.

Ticketed activities (those priced at four for $15 to partake) will include bounce houses, pony rides, scarecrow making and ‘bouncy boxing’. This event will be a great way to get the whole family excited about the upcoming Halloween and Thanksgiving holidays and the children will no doubt want to do some pumpkin painting and scarecrow making to get ready for Halloween. It should also be a great event to celebrate all that is special and unique about the fall season.

Organizers of this fun annual event will most likely be working with Alexandria printing companies to help them prepare. Flyer printing services will ensure that word gets out about the festival to the local and surrounding communities and flyers are advantageous in that they can be distributed in a range of ways.

Although some of the activities are ticketed, there is no charge to attend the event itself, which takes place on October 13 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. For more information, call 703-746-5592.
