DCAD to show its best work during February

January 31, 2013 by

The Student Exhibition at the DCAD (Delaware College of Art and Design) is now in its 16th year and enables the public to view some of the students best work from the previous 12 months. This is a great opportunity for families to come out and view some of the best art work in Wilmington, as well as perhaps being of interest to artistically-minded print company employees in the area.

The opening reception for this event will be held on February 1, beginning at 5:00 pm and running until 8:00 pm. All the artwork selected and hung in this exhibition was chosen by the faculty and represents the various assignments completed throughout the year. This will represent a selection of works from such fields as photography, interior design, illustration, graphic design, fine arts, and animation. The presentation will enable people of all ages to come out and enjoy work by local students, much of which might inspire the minds of those viewing them.

Admission to this event is free and everyone is invited to enjoy the student’s pieces. The Gallery’s hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The Student Exhibition at the DCAD will be showcased from tomorrow, February 1, until Friday, February 22, at the Delaware College of Art and Design located at 600 North Market Street in Wilmington, Delaware.
